Don't be fooled by "Advantage Medicare" plans being advertised

Although Advantage plans may offer you "0" co-pays and "low out of pocket" expenses for Rx, we have found that patients with Chronic Pain conditions have better coverage for treatment of their physical pain when they get "Medicare" and find a secondary insurance (2nd) like the following: Aetna/ AARP/ Humana/ Health Plan/ Cigna/ Medical Mutual/ Heartland/ Tricare/ American Continental/ Mutual of Omaha for example. In some cases, you may qualify for state Medicaid as your 2nd.

"Advantage Plans" save money by not "allowing" medical pain procedures that traditional Medicare offers. As long as you find a good 2nd, you can have these pain relieving procedures without being told by your "Advantage Plan" that you're not allowed by that plan.

Contact Medicare.gov to get help choosing your plan.
